In his spare time, as well as enjoying spending time with his wife and two children, Paul is an avid amateur photographer and has used his pictures to help raise money to build a basketball court for a school in Rwanda.

My Kit

I started with a humble Sony CyberShot back in 2003, before getting my first DLSR, a Nikon D40 in 2007. I took this fantastic camera on my trip to Rwanda and it served me well, but I have since upgraded to the Nikon D7000, which is a simply amazing camera to use, with these key features:

Camera

  • 23.6 x 15.6 mm CMOS sensor

  • RGB color filter array

  • Built-in fixed low-pass filter

  • 16.2 million effective pixels

  • RGB Color Filter Array

  • 14-bit A/D converter

  • Maximum Image Size (Pixels): 4,928 x 3,264

Lens

  • AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom Lens for Select Nikon DX-Format Digital Cameras

Editing

For photo editing, I rely heavily on Adobe Lightroom, which takes already great shots and then performs absolute magic to them, taking them to a whole other level of quality; get in touch if you'd like to know more!
